Si può usare la Magnapunch
per la perforazione di fogli
non standard che siano di
formato inferiore all’ampiezza
massima della carta che può
essere perforata in un solo
passaggio. Le istruzioni che
seguono indicano
dettagliatamente come
impostare la macchina.
Passo 1: Posizionare
correttamente la guida dello
spigolo: Prima di perforare
fogli di formato non standard,
occorre posizionare
correttamente la guida dello
spigolo.
Alcune prove saranno
necessarie per determinare la
posizione corretta della guida.
Iniziare per prova usando il
riferimento di allineamento
sulla tavola che corrisponde
allo schema di foratura
prescelto ed al formato del
foglio 21,6 x 27,9 cm di (8
1/2" x 11".)
Per spostare la guida,
allentare la manopola a vite
sulla guida stessa (assicurarsi
che il commutatore rimanga
sicuramente bloccato sotto la
manopola a vite). Posizionare
la guida sul riferimento di
allineamento prescelto. Per
bloccare la guida in posizione,
serrare la manopola a vite
(vedere figura I).
Suggerimento utile: Prima di
intraprendere un lavoro di
foratura, verificare le
impostazioni variabili della
propria Magnapunch
perforando qualche foglio di
carta supplementare dello
stesso identico formato del
materiale da rilegare. Questo
consentirà di eseguire tutte le
eventuali regolazioni della
macchina senza sprecare o
danneggiare i documenti da
rilegare. I passi che seguono
indicano come verificare
l’allineamento corretto della
guida dello spigolo della
Magnapunch.

The Maximum Punch

You can use your
Magnapunch to punch non-
standard sheet sizes that are
smaller than the maximum
width of paper that can be
punched in one operation.
The following instructions
detail how to properly set up
the machine.
Step 1: Move Edge Guide
To Correct Position: Before
punching non-standard sheet
sizes, you must first correctly
adjust the Edge Guide.
Some experimentation will be
required to determine the
correct position for the Edge
Guide. Begin by trying the
Edge Guide Alignment Mark
on the Punching Table that
corresponds to the Edge
Guide position for your
selected punching pattern
and an 8-1/2" x 11" sheet of
paper.
To move the Edge Guide,
loosen the Screw Knob on
the Edge Guide (be certain
that the Table Top Trigger
Switch remains securely
within the Knob Screw). Slide
the right side of the Edge
Guide to the correct Edge
Guide Alignment Mark. To
lock the Edge Guide in place,
firmly tighten the Screw Knob
(see Figure I).
Helpful Hint: Before
beginning a punching job,
test your Magnapunch’s
variable settings by punching
a few extra sheets of paper
that match the exact size of
the actual materials to be
bound. This will allow you to
make any adjustments to the
machine without wasting or
damaging the documents to
be bound. The following
steps indicate how to test
your Magnapunch for proper
Edge Guide alignment.
