For Sheets Larger Than The
Maximum Punch Width:
Because of its open end
Punch Throat design, you can
use your Magnapunch to
punch non-standard sheet
sizes that are larger than the
maximum width of paper that
can be punched in one
operation. Note that multiple
steps are required to punch
these larger sheets of paper.
Some experimentation will be
required to determine the
correct position for the Edge
Guide. Follow Steps 1 - 4
listed above, “For Sheets
Smaller Than The Maximum
Punch Width,” to correctly
position and test the Edge
Guide.
Helpful Hint: You may need
to remove some of the Punch
Pins for proper punching of
some combinations of paper
sizes and punching patterns.
This is quickly and easily
accomplished. To remove
Punch Pins from Die Sets,
follow these instructions:
Removing Punch Pins:
Step 1: Determine Punch
Pins To Be Removed: Place
a single sheet of paper (that is
the same size as the
document to be punched)
beside the Die Set. Correctly
align the left edge of the sheet
with the appropriate Punching
Pin (J). Now, inspect the right
edge of the sheet. If any
Punch Pin(s) do not
completely fit onto the sheet,
you must remove them for
proper punching.
Step 2: Remove Appropriate
Punch Pins: Securely brace
the Die Set and firmly pull
back on the Pin Retainer
Slide. This will disengage the
Pin Lock System, allowing the
Punch Pins to be removed.
While holding the Pin Retainer
Slide back, firmly grasp the
top of the selected Punch
Pin(s) and pull upward. The
Punch Pin(s) will slide out of
the Die Set. Carefully store
the removed Punch Pin(s) for
future use (see Figure M). To
replace Punch Pin(s), pull
back on Pin Retainer Slide
and insert the Pin(s) into the
correct holes. Fogli di larghezza superiore

Suggerimento utile: Per

formato della carta e schema di
perforazione, è possibile che sia
necessario rimuovere alcune
delle fustelle di foratura.
L’operazione si esegue
rapidamente e con facilità. Per
togliere qualche fustella dal
gruppo, seguire queste istruzioni:
Smontaggio di parte delle
fustelle:
Passo 1: Determinare quali
siano le fustelle da smontare:
Porre un singolo foglio di carta
(dello stesso formato di quelli da
perforare) accanto al gruppo di
fustelle. Allineare correttamente il
lato sinistro del foglio con la
fustella appropriata (J). A questo
punto, esaminare il lato destro
del foglio. Se una o più fustelle
non si trovano interamente
all’interno del foglio, occorre
toglierle per avere una
perforazione corretta.
Passo 2: Smontaggio delle
fustelle da togliere: Afferrare
saldamente il gruppo di fustelle e
tirare indietro la piastrina di
fissaggio delle fustelle. Questa
azione libera il sistema di
bloccaggio delle fustelle e
permette di estrarle. Sempre
trattenendo indietro la piastrina di
fissaggio delle fustelle, afferrare
con forza la parte superiore
della(e) fustella(e) da togliere e
tirarla(e) verso l’alto. La(e)
fustella(e) verrà estratta dalla sua
sede. Riporre attentamente la(e)
fustella(e) smontata(e) per gli
utilizzi futuri (vedere figura M).
Per rimontare la(e) fustella(e),
tirare indietro la piastrina di
fissaggio e inserire nel foro
corrispondente la(e) fustella(e).
