For non-RAID configurations, only the drive-activity indicator is active.

Off • Drive is ready for removal.
• Drive bay is empty.
• Power is off to the server module.
Green Drive is online.
Green, blinking slowly Drive is rebuilding.
Green, blinking quickly Drive is being identified.
Amber Drive has failed or has an error. See "Troubleshooting Hard
Drives" on page 113.
Amber blinking slowly,
green blinking slowly, then off The drive has reported a predictive failure event, and should
be replaced.
