The multi-function printer beeps and does not allow you to proceed to the next step if a wrong

number is entered.

Changing the Clock Mode

You can set your multi-function printer to display the current time using either the 12-hour or the 24-hour
format.

Press <Menu> until "Printer Setup" appears on the top line of the display.

Press the scroll button ( or ) until you see "Clock Mode" on the bottom line and press <Select>.

2.

The multi-function printer displays the Clock mode that is currently set.

Press the scroll button ( or ) to select the other mode and then press <Select> to save the
selection
.

To return to Standby mode, press <Return>.

Setting Sounds

Speaker, Ringer, Key Sounds and Alarm Sounds

Press <Menu> until "Sound/Volume" appears on the top line of the display.

Press the scroll button ( or ) to scroll through the options. Press <Select> when you see the sound
option you want.

Press the scroll button ( or ) to display the status or loudness you want for the option you have
selected.

For the ringer volume, you can select from "Off", "Low", "Med" and "High". Setting "Off" means that
the ringer turns off. The multi-function printer works normally even if the ringer is turned off.

Press <Select> to save the selection.

4.

If necessary, repeat steps 2 through 4.

5.

To return to Standby mode, press <Return>.
