Repeat steps 2 and 3 to store other
tracks into the same (or a different)
clips:
If the memory becomes full
The music clip data for the oldest track is
erased to make room for a new track.
Notes
•
In stop mode, you cannot store tracks in
music clips when "SHUFFLE" or
"PROGRAM" appears in the display.
• Only tracks numbered 1 - 20 on the disc
can be stored in music clips. The tracks
numbered 21 or more cannot be stored.

Erasing Tracks from a

CLIP (A, B, or C) indicator appears in the
display to let you know when tracks on the
discs are stored in music clips.

Press MUSIC CLIP PLAY.
"SELECT A - C" and "PLAY A - C"
appear in the display alternately.

Press CLIP (A, B, or C).
"CLIP PLAY" and the selected music
clip indicator appear in the display.
The player starts playing tracks from the
selected music clip.
You can see the tracks in the music clip
with music calendar.
To cancel clip play
Press □ on the CD player.
Notes
• In 1 DISC mode, the tracks stored for the
selected disc are played back once, then
clip play is canceled.
• In ALL DISCS mode, all the tracks stored
for the currently loaded discs are played
back once, then clip play is canceled.
• You cannot start clip play if "PROGRAM"
appears in the display.
Erasing a track

Press MUSIC CLIP PLAY.

Press CLIP (A, B, or C) for the clip
containing the tracks you want to erase.
3 Use the JOG dial to select the track you
want to erase.

Press MUSIC CLIP ERASE while the
track you want to erase is being played.
"ERASE A - C" and "TRACK A - C"
appear alternately in the display and the
selected CLIP indicator flashes.

Press the same CLIP button you pressed
in step 2 again while the indicator is
flashing.
Playing stops and the selected track is
erased.
Erasing all the tracks in CLIP A (B or
C)

In stop mode, press MUSIC CLIP
ERASE.
"ERASE A - C" and "ALL A - C" appear
alternately in the display, and all the
music clip indicators flash.

Press CLIP (A, B, or C) to specify the
music clip you want to erase.
"PUSH" and the selected "CLIP (A, B or
C)" appear in the display.

Press the same CLIP button you pressed
in step 2 again.
Note
You cannot erase tracks from a music clip if
the disc containing these tracks is not in the
playing position.
