Adjusting the Sound
To fully enjoy the sound coming from your
stereo system, you can make the following
audio adjustments. See the sections
following this one for additional sound
adjustments.

Selecting the Audio
Emphasis
Your stereo system has been factory set to
ten specially recommended audio emphasis
settings. Choose from among these ten
preset settings according to the type of
music you are listening to.
EFFECT
To adjust the volume
Turn VOLUME on the amplifier clockwise
or counterclockwise to increase or decrease
the sound, or press VOLUME +/- on the
remote.
To reinforce bass
Press DBEB* repeatedly and choose
DBFB
or DBFB ¡¿,\\\\\ .

To listen through the headphones
Connect the headphones to the PITONES
jack. No sound will come from the
speakers.
Press FILE SELECT (MUSIC MENU ▲ /
T
on the remote) repeatedly to select
SELECT 5 or MORE 5.
The SELECT 5 or MORE 5 indicator
lights up.
Press one of the FILE 1-5 buttons on
the unit (or MUSIC MENU ■< / ► on the
remote).
The indicator of the selected preset
setting lights up.
