Setup your PC or Mac to talk to the USB interface on the V.I.O. STREAM
Setup for the STREAM will be different for each Operating System. Please follow the directions
below for your Operating System.
WINDOWS XP Setup for USB access
1. Plug in the USB cable from the STREAM to your Windows XP computer. Push the power
button on the STREAM for less than 1 second and release. Wait approximately 25
seconds. Your computer should indicate that New Hardware is detected. It may ask for
permission to upgrade your RNDIS driver, and if so, confirm/select ‘Yes’ or ‘OK’ to allow
this to happen. If new hardware is not detected, or an RNDIS driver cannot be found,
please see the section for Troubleshooting.
2. Go to the Start menu -> Settings -> Control Panel
3. Select ‘Network Connections’ by double-clicking the item highlighted in blue below:
