To Defragment the Disk
•
Press M ENU and use the S CROLL A RROWS to locate O PERATIONS .

Press E NTER and use the S CROLL A RROWS to locate DEFRAGMENT DISK. Press
E NTER , and the display will prompt:
DEFRAGMENT DISK?
PRESS ENTER/CANCEL

Press E NTER to proceed, press C ANCEL to abort. If you press E NTER , the display
prompts:
ARE YOU SURE?
PRESS ENTER/CANCEL

Press C ANCEL to abort, or press E NTER to proceed. The display will prompt:
DEFRAGMENTING DISK
00% COMPLETE
As Defragmentation takes place, the lower line of the display will indicate progress by
displaying the percentage completed. When defragmentation is complete, the display will
prompt:
DEFRAGMENTATION COMPLETE
RESTARTING MACHINE
Instant Replay will restart itself, and after a few moments the display will return to the normal
"Play Ready" state.
