4.5.3 Video and Audio Settings
The VIDEO menu allows you to configure the video and audio output settings, including the setting of Privacy Zone
which is used to hide an area on the screen from being viewed.
Setting the Video Output

In preview mode, right-click on the mouse to display the Pop-up menu.

Select Main Menu > SYSTEM > VIDEO.

Modify the necessary settings.
Menu Item
Description
Video System Select the video system used in your location (NTSC/PAL).
Video Output Select LIVE-OUT or SPOT-OUT to configure the video output setup. This item is available
only in 16-channel model. See
“Setting LIVE-OUT View Setup (16-Channel DVR only)”
below or
“Setting SPOT-OUT View and Audio Setup (16-Channel DVR only)” on page
Rotate Time
Set the interval time in seconds when changing screen display in Auto Switch mode. See
“3.4.5 Auto Switch View” on page 35
. Rotate time is available only if View Setup is
disabled.
View Setup
Enable or disable the display sequence setting. This item is available only in 16-channel
model.
VGA
Resolution
Select the output resolution.
OSD Output
Select where you want to display the OSD menu when multiple monitors are connected
to the DVR (BNC Out, VGA, or Auto).

Click Edit.
Setting LIVE-OUT View Setup (16-Channel DVR only)
This function allows you to fix the number of channels displayed in split mode and order the display sequence of
channels when viewing in live mode.

In preview mode, right-click on the mouse to display the Pop-up menu.

Select Main Menu > SYSTEM > VIDEO.

In Video Output, select LIVE-OUT.

In View Setup, select Enable.
