Raise the rear of vehicle and support with jack stands under lifting points. NEVER WORK UNDER A
VEHICLE SUPPORTED ONLY WITH A JACK!
The NEUSPEED Sway Bar is installed with end arms
DOWN, decal right side up as viewed from rear. Please follow these instructions exactly as outlined,
step-by-step in the following order.

*NOTE: If your vehicle is equipped with a balance weight located in the middle of the rear axle
beam, then replace the two outside mounting hex bolts with the button head bolts supplied.

1. Coat the inside of polyurethane bushings with special NEUSPEED grease supplied, and install one

on each side of straight section just before first bend.

2. Using new brackets supplied, hold sway bar in position and centered between shock mounts.

Hook brackets to bottom of axle beam and swing brackets around axle beam to the top and then
attach clamp with nut and bolt. Be sure clamp locks onto axle beam as shown in Figure 1 (see
reverse side for detail drawings). A big screwdriver can be used to pry clamp back so that it locks
onto axle beam. SHORT SIDE of clamp MUST sit flat against edge of axle beam.

3. Using anti-seize, assemble end links. Install one side at a time, as shown in Figure 2. Make sure

that they are straight and equal lengths before tightening lock nut. Use the shortest length when
using the center hole in the sway bar. Lengthen as required for front and rear holes. The center
hole position is the best starting point…Towards front will be STIFFER, towards rear will be
SOFTER.

4. Carefully double-check installation and tightness of ALL nuts and bolts. TEST DRIVE CAREFULLY!
