Fits 2006-2008.5 Passat 2.0T FSI with Automatic Transmission
PARTS LIST: TOOLS REQUIRED:
1 – INTAKE PIPE 1 – HEAT SHIELD 1 – NEUSPEED FILTER 1 – T20 TOX 1 – FLAT BLADE SCREW DRIVER 1 – PHILIPS SCREWDRIVER
1 – SILICONE HOSE 2 – PHILIPS HEAD SCREWS M4x8mm 1 – BUTTON HEAD SCREW M6x10mm 1 – 4mm HEX KEY WRENCH 1 – SPRING CLAMP PLIERS 1 – 10MM WRENCH
1 – RUBBER ISOLATOR 1 – #40 CLAMP 1 – #44 CLAMP
1 – WIRE-TIE
1. Remove the intake air duct: There are
two T20 Torx screws that attach duct to
the front core and a spring clamp at
hose connection to the air filter box
(engine cover).
2. Disconnect electrical connector at MAF
(Mass Air Flow) sensor.
3. Unclip and disconnect turbo intake hose
from air filter box.
4. There are four rubber grommet mounts
holding air filter box (engine cover) to
engine. Lift up one corner of air filter
box at a time to detach.
5. Remove turbo intake hose at turbo by
squeezing spring clamp with spring
clamp pliers. CAUTION: Do not let any
debris or objects fall into turbo inlet or
damage may occur.
6. Install NEUSPEED heat shield: Unscrew
the (2) rear mounts for factory air filter
box (engine cover) by first removing the
10mm hex nuts located on bottom side
of factory heat shield.
7. Install NEUSPEED heat shield using
original air filter box mounts and nuts.
8. Install silicone hose onto turbo inlet and
tighten with #40 clamp supplied.
9. Remove MAF sensor from factory air box
(T20 Torx).
10. Install into NEUSPEED intake pipe with
two M4x8mm Phillips head screws
supplied. NOTE: Sensor only fits in one
direction.
