INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
PARTS LIST:
1 – 27mm ANTI-ROLL BAR 1 – SYNTHETIC TEFLON GREASE
2 – 12mm NYLOC NUTS 2 – URETHANE BUSHINGS
TOOLS REQUIRED: 1 – RATCHET 1 – 16mm SOCKET
1 – 12” EXTENSION 1 – 18mm WRENCH
1 – 13mm SOCKET 1 – T40 TORX BIT
1 – 19mm WRENCH
1. Park car on a flat, level surface capable of supporting the vehicle’s weight on jack and jack stands.
2. Using the manufacturers recommended lifting point(s), raise rear of vehicle and support with jack stands.
NEVER WORK ON A VEHICLE SUPPORTED ONLY WITH A JACK!
3. Touareg only: Unbolt the left and right rear muffler
hangers from vehicle and allow exhaust to droop. There
are (4) 13mm hex bolts, two on each hanger.
4. Unbolt anti-roll bar from end links using the 18mm
wrench and a T40 Torx to keep stud from turning.
5. Unbolt anti-roll bar bushings mounts. There are (4)
16mm hex bolts, two on each clamp.
6. Move anti-roll bar rearward until ends clear
suspension arm, and then slide out over exhaust pipe.
