INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
PART LIST:
1 – CRANK PULLEY 1 – BELT
TOOLS REQUIRED: 1 – 15mm Wrench 1 – Torque Wrench
1 – Ratchet Wrench 1 – T25 Torx
1 – 10mm Triple Square
NOTE: DO NOT USE ANY TOOLS THAT MAY DAMAGE OUTER PULLEY GROOVES. DAMAGE CAUSED DURING
INSTALLATION WILL VOID YOUR WARRANTY.
1. Using the manufacturer recommended lifting point(s), raise the front of the vehicle and support with jack stand.
NEVER WORK ON A VEHICLE SUPPORTED ONLY WITH A JACK!
2. Remove lower engine splash guard and passenger side plastic lower inner fender liner (T25 Torx) to expose
crankshaft pulley.
3. Using a 10mm triple square, loosen the five (5) bolts securing pulley to crankshaft.
4. Using a 15mm wrench on idler pulley bolt, rotate belt tensioner to remove belt.
5. Remove crankshaft bolts and original crank shaft pulley.
6. Wipe the end of the crankshaft clean before installing new crank pulley. If any burs or corrosion exist, remove
as necessary.
7. Position NEUSPEED pulley on crankshaft and align pulley mounting holes to crankshaft holes. Check that
NEUSPEED pulley is fully seated against crankshaft. Use of excessive force to install the pulley will damage
both the pulley and the crankshaft and will void warranty. Install with OE 10mm triple square bolts.
Torque in a crisscross pattern; 12.9 Bolt 70Nm (53 ft-lb.) or 10.9 Bolt 50Nm (37 ft-lb.) + addition 90° (¼ turn).
8. Install supplied belt in correct orientation making sure belt is completely seated in pulley grooves. NOTE:
FAILURE TO SEAT BELT CORRECTLY WILL SEVERELY DAMAGE BELT.
9. Carefully check complete installation to be sure all fasteners are tight, the belt is correctly seated in grooves of
each pulley and that nothing interferes with the pulleys or belt.
