6. FOUR-STEP
BUTTONHOLE
(Two - size buttonholer)
Your machine makes buttonholes to any
size you choose in only four, easy steps.
• You never need to move the fabric or repo­
sition the needle.
• Always make a practice buttonhole on a
sample of your fabric.
• Be sure bobbin contains enough thread.
• When making buttonholes on hard-to-
reach areas convert machine bed to free
arm sewing.
• Mark buttonhole position on fabric as Indi­
cated in pattern.
• You’ll find a two-size buttonhole on the
panel:
Standard size Buttonhole no.
1 , for several
kinds of buttons (5.8mm).
Narrow size Buttonhole no.
8 , specially for
small buttons (4.5mm).
• The steps for selecting the buttonhole are
the same as for zig-zag and Flexl-Stitch.
Position the Indicator at Nos. 1 or 8

Needle Plate: General Purpose (A)
Step A
• Raise presser foot.
• Place fabric under foot.
• Centre 3 red guidelines (
1 ) of foot around
beginning line of buttonhole.
• Turn buttonhole dial to the buttonhole symbol
(A) for the first step.
• Position needle In fabric at point (2) by
turning the hand wheel towards you.
• Stitch down to point 3.
StepB
• Raise needle out of fabric.
• Turn buttonhole dial to the buttonhole symbol
(B) for the second step.
• Make at least four stitches, ending at point (4).
6. OJALES EN CUA­
TRO TIEMPOS
(Dos anchuras)
Su máquina hace ojales al tamaño deseado
en sólo cuatro tiempos.
• No necesita jamás mover el tejido o
cambiar la aguja.
• Antes de realizar un ojal, haga una prueba
en un trozo del tejido a utilizar.
• Asegúrese de que la bobina contiene
suficiente hilo.
• Al realizar ojales en áreas de acceso difícil,
convierta la máquina para costura con
base libre.
• Marque sobre el tejido la posición del ojal
como se indica en el diseño.
• Usted encuentra en el panel dos anchuras
de ojal;
Ojal padrón n.°
1 , para varios tipos de boto­
nes (5.8mm).
Ojal estrecho n.® 8 , especialmente para bo­
tones pequeños (4.5mm).
• Los pasos para seleccionar el ojal son los
mismos que de la costura zig-zag y extensi­
bles. Posicione el indicador en los números
1 o 8 .

Selección punto: de Ojales nos

Anchura punto: Prepuesta
Prénsatelas: Ojales (L)
Plancha aguja: Uso general (A)
Tiempo A
• Levante el prénsatelas.
• Coloque el tejido debajo del prénsatelas.
• Centre las 3 líneas-guía rojas (
1 ) del
prénsatelas, con la línea de comienzo del
ojal.
• Gire el mando para ojales hacia el primer
símbolo (A) del ojal para realizar el primer
tiempo.
• Colocar la aguja en el tejido sobre el punto
( 2 ) girando el volante del mano hacia Vd.
• Cosa hasta el punto (3).
Tiempo B
• Saque la aguja del tejido.
• Gire el mando para ojales hacia el símbolo (B)
del ojal para realizar el segundo tiempo.
• De un mínimo de cuatro puntadas,
terminando en el punto (4).
