ZIPPER INSERTION

Skirt Zipper —

•

Machine baste the placket opening of

the skirt and press this seam open.

• Attach the zipper foot to the machine

and position it to the right of the

needle.

• Open the zipper.

•

Place the zipper face down on the

seam allowance with the edge of the

teeth at the seam line.

•

Turn the back seam allowance away

from the body of the skirt.

•

Stitch the zipper tape to the seam

allowance.
