TROUbLESHOOTING

REMEDY
1. Check ignition wire connec-
tion (see Wiring Diagrams)
2. Check ground wire connection
(see Wiring Diagrams)
3. Clean and adjust main burner;
check gas supply and inlet
pressure; replace ignition as-
sembly if necessary
1. Check electrical connections
and replace wall switch
1. Clean and adjust main burner
2. Adjust ignitor location for
maximum flame impingement
on sensor
3. Have vent inspected for block-
age or damage
POSSIBLE CAUSE
1. Loose wiring on ignition
module
2. Poor ground to ignition
module
3. Main burner flame too low
to sense
1. Wall switch wires defec-
tive
1. Burner flame is too low
2. Igniter is misaligned causing
safety burner to "drop out"
3. Vent may be blocked or
restricted
PROBLEM
Burner will not stay lit
No gas to main burner when wall
switch and valve are set to ON
position
Frequent main burner outage
