2. While pulling the loose end of the horseshoe to spread the horseshoe slightly, slip the
loose end of the horseshoe over the other outer arm pin.
This is easiest if you get the end of the horseshoe to rest on the tip of the outer arm pin.

3. Squeeze the horseshoe the rest of the way, until it is over the pin.
The horseshoe will snap into place. See the following figure.
