3. Ride comfort and vehicle stability

Proper tire inflation contributes to a com-
fortable ride. Overinflation produces a jar-
ring and uncomfortable ride.

Besides the tire name (sales designation)
and manufacturer's name, a number of
markings can be found on a tire.
