3.7.10 Current SNM-1000 DAC Software Revision (VER)
This command queries the SNM-1000 DAC board for its current software revision
number.

3.7.10.2 Local Command Responses
DAC VERSION: X.Y.ZZZ.CCCC
Where:
X.Y = SNM-1000 DAC software release number.
ZZZ = Revision level for the release.
CCCC = Checksum
3.7.11 Node to NMS Service Messages (NMS_MSG)
This command permits the transmission of up to 28 ASCII text characters to the NMS.
