Troubleshooting
Just in case something were to go wrong with your Show Control System, this section will provide you
with some tips that can help you get back up and running as soon as possible.

Display Studio Status Errors
The following lists contain possible error messages that can appear in the Display Studio Status Pane. The
messages are categorized according to the system component that they pertain to, and detail the
message, the likely reason for the message, and possible solution(s) to the error.
Note: Messages which produce a status of Green, meaning that the system is functioning properly, will
not be addressed.
Data Store
Message: Folder Not Found
Likely Reason: Display Studio is unable to locate the Data Store folder, usually located at
C:\ProgramData\Daktronics\Nucleus Server\Disk Data.
Potential solution: Go to the above location and create a folder named “Disk Data”. After creating the
folder, follow the steps for Manually Establishing Access to the Disk Data Folder .
Message: Error Confirming Access to Disk Data
Likely Reason: The Data Store folder is not shared or does not have its network access permissions
properly configured.
Potential solution: Navigate to the Disk Data folder and follow the steps for Manually Establishing
Access to the Disk Data Folder .
Show Control Server
Message: Server is not responding. Make sure the Server is on and connected to the
network.
