8. Working from inside the electronic head, use the four screws set aside in Step
6 to secure the new Card Reader Assembly tightly to the front of the electronic
head.

9. CFN ISLANDER ONLY: Connect the card reader cable to the Island Card Reader CPU board.
For CPU board C05857 (current production),
use the cable that is pre-attached to the reader.
Connect cable with 10 pins to the P1A connector.
Relocate the jumpers in K4 and K5 connectors
from pin 1 and 2 to pin 2 and 3.
For CPU board C05375 (older style), replace
the pre-attached cable with the loose cable
assembly provided. Connect cable with 6 pins to
the P1 connector. Relocate the jumper in K2
from position 1 to 2 and the jumper in K3 from
position 2 to 1.
9. SERIES 1000 ONLY: Connect the card reader cable to the Series 1000
card reader MPU board (J5 location) and reinstall the wrapper
assembly using the 4 saved screws.
10. Close and lock door assembly at the rear of the fuel management system.
11. Turn on all breakers supplying power to the fuel management system and the pumps. Check the operation of
the new card reader assembly.
