• Check jumpers on NIStune board
Most users will not need to change these as the board will be set up at the
factory. Tuners/dealers who buy bulk boards and then program the base images
themselves will need to set these jumpers after programming.
Jumpers J1 – J3 on the NIStune board are used to select between different ECU
types. Details are printed on the Type 4 board for reference and there’s a
detailed list in Appendix A.
J4 “PGM” jumper is only used when programming the base image into the
board and must always be removed when the board is fitted to the ECU.
