Recorder mode

Shows the current recorder mode.

Location mark number indicator

The number (001-999) of the current location mark is
shown after the flag icon.

SD card protection indicator

If the SD card is protected, the

lock icon appears.

SD card insertion status

If an SD card is inserted appears. If not, appears.

Recorder transport state

When playing Á appears. When stopped ª appears.

When recording appears. When searching backward,

Repeat playback/auto punch mode indicator

When repeat playback mode is active,

appears.

When auto punch mode is active,

Recorder time counter

Shows the elapsed time from the start of the song.

Cursor

This shows the time increment being edited.
Turning the DATA wheel changes the value of the

selected time increment. Each time you press the

HOME button, the cursor moves in order from right

to left (f, s, m, h) and back to the right after the hour

increment is reached.

Level meters and EQ status for INPUTS A and B

Shows the signal levels of INPUT A (

) and INPUT B

(

).

When INPUT EQ is ON, A and B are shown with frames

).

Level meters and mute/track EQ status for TRACKS

1–8
Shows input levels when recording and playback

signal levels when playing back.
When mute is ON, the track number is shown in
inverse. For example,

means that tracks 3

and 4 are muted.
When muting is OFF and TRACK EQ is ON, the track
numbers are shown with frames (

).

Level meter for stereo outputs (L, R)

Shows the signal level output from the LINE OUT

jacks.
