Install dual port Ethernet board (optional)
21. In the Adapter drop-down list, select the Intel Adapter Fault Tolerance Team and
enter the Profile XP Media Platform’s IP address settings. These settings should be
the same as those previously assigned to the standard Ethernet adapter
22. Configure settings on the rest of the tabs so that the settings assigned to the Intel
Adapter Fault Tolerance team are the same as those previously assigned to the
standard Ethernet adapter.
23. When settings have been appropriately configured, click Apply and OK . On the
Network dialog box, click Close . Click Yes when prompted to restart.
24. After restart, open the Network icon and on the Bindings tab, select all adapters .
Verify that the standard Ethernet adapter is present, but disabled. The two Intel
PRO/100 adapters and their Intel Adapter Fault Tolerance team should be the only
adapters enabled.
25. Also open the PROSet II application from the Control Panel. Click OK or Cancel if
error messages appear.
