2 Enter GENERIC in the search text box and select the G ENERIC 1769 M ODULE . If
you're using an earlier version of RSLogix, expand O THER in the Select
Module dialog box, and then select the G ENERIC 1769 M ODULE .
3 Set the Module Properties values as follows:
Parameter Value
Name Enter a module identification string. Example: MVI69E_MBTCP
Description Enter a description for the module. Example: ProSoft
communication module for Serial Modbus communications.
Comm Format Select D ATA -INT
Slot Enter the slot number in the rack where the MVI69E-MBTCP
module is installed.
