Sound check
You can perform sound checks for connected devices (e.g. speakers) by generating signals
from the unit.
1 Press and hold the [QUANTITY/UTILITY (WAKE UP)] button.
The Utility menu appears.
2 Turn the [TIME] knob in the Beat FX section or press the
[BEAT  ] or [BEAT  ] button to select [SOUND CHECK], and
press the [TAP] button.
The [ SOUND CHECK ] screen appears.
3 Turn the [TIME] knob to select a setting item.
4 Press the [BEAT  ] or [BEAT  ] button to select a setting.

5 Press the [TAP] button.
Sound is output.
• To stop outputting the sound, press the [ TAP ] button again.
6 Press the [QUANTIZE/UTILITY (WAKE UP)] button.
The [ UTILITY ] screen closes.
