Full Duplex Handsfree
The Full Duplex Handsfree (FDHF) functionality allows simultaneous
two-way communication duringa handsfree call. For Full Duplex Handsfree
functionality, you require an M3904 Phase III set equipped with an FDHF
cartridge.
Refer to “Full Duplex Handsfree” on page 52 for information on the FDHF
hardware requirements.
The receive audio level is attenuated duringthe FDHF mode while both
parties are speaking. Therefore, fluctuations in the receive volume can occur
duringthe FDHF call.
Duringa call, the FDHF cartridge can be inserted or removed from the ACM
without interruptingan established call. If the FDHF cartridge is removed,
half-duplex operation is restored.
