Chapter 8 Message

8.1 Message

The SDP-Eco 1630 III displays three kinds of messages: status messages,
warning messages and error messages.

[Status message]

Status messages indicate the machine's current operation status.

[Warning message]

Warning messages indicate a problem which has no effect currently but may
have adverse effects in the near future. These messages are displayed when
the power is turned ON.
Pressing the

key allows you to continue processing.

[Error message]

Error messages indicate a problem or error which is now occurring during
operation. If an error message is displayed, a buzzer sounds and the machine
will not operate. Pressing the

key while an error message is displayed

stops the buzzer sound.
The following pages contain a listing of common error codes, their meanings,
and corrective measures.

8.2 Displaying and clearing errors

When a problem or error occurs during operation, an error message is
displayed on the display panel and all moving parts, such as the motor, stop.
The machine will not operate while an error message is displayed.
