File System CURRENT VERSION OF THE
SOFTWARE SETS THE DISC WRITE
PROTECTED. This appears when you insert a disc that can be
played back but not recorded.
Exchange the disc for one with a file system
supported by this unit. Or format the disc (see
page 81).
FILE SYSTEM ON THE DISC INHIBITS
WRITING.
Loading! a) LOADING. This appears if you press a button while a disc is
loading. Wait until the disc has finished loading and
try again.
Unloading!
a) UNLOADING. This appears if you press a button while a disc is
unloading.
Wait until the disc has finished unloading and try
again.
Clip lock! CLIP IS LOCKED.
UNLOCK CLIP IN THUMBNAIL MENU. This appears when an operation is attempted on a
locked clip.Use the Thumbnail Menu to unlock the clip
(see page 71) and try again.
File Access CANNOT CHANGE SETTINGS DURING
FILE ACCESS. This appears when an attempt is made to change the
setting of PC RMT (ENABLE/DISABLE) on page P7
