Calibrating the
Tape Length

If you use tape strips of different lengths or encounter frequent tape stalls,
follow the procedure in this section.
Setting the tape length tells your system how long to run its tape feed
motor.

1. Press the Options key.
2. Select Setup Menu, then Advanced Functions.
3. Select Tape Length Adjustment.

If you have previously changed the tape length setting and want to
restore the default factory setting, select Reset type length to factory
setting. The system prompts you to confirm your selection by pressing
the Yes (Enter) key.

4. To change the tape length, select Enter tape length.
5. The system prompts you to measure the tape length (in inches).
6. After you measure the tape, key in the value and press Enter.
7. The system displays the new value and prompts you to confirm it.

Press Enter to confirm.
