4 • System Setup

You can change display contrast to compensate for different lighting
conditions.
1. Press the Options key.
2. Select Setup Menu, then Basic Settings.
3. Select Display Contrast.
4. Select the contrast level you want: 1 is the darkest; 5 is the lightest.

The display changes contrast as you press each number.

5. Press Enter to confirm your setting.

You can change the system date/time, set the date/time to daylight
savings time, change the time at which your system advances the date/
time to the next day, and set the amount of time your system can remain
inactive before reverting to the normal preset values.

1. Press the Options key.
2. Select Setup Menu, then Time of Day/Timer.
3. Select Daylight Savings. The display shows the current time and tells

you if daylight savings is On or Off. It also asks if you want to change
the setting.

4. Press No (Options) if you don’t want to change the setting; press Yes

(Enter) if you do. The display shows the setting you chose.

1. Press the Options key.
2. Select Setup Menu, then Time of Day/Timer.
3. Select Meter Clock Time.
4. Key in the correct time.
5. Press the Refill key for AM; the Options key for PM.
6. Press Enter. The display shows the time set.

NOTE: If you make any changes to your date or time settings on your system, you
must initiate a connection to the Pitney Bowes Data Centre prior to running mail.
These changes are then recorded and reflected in the parameters printed in your
digital indicia.
