the Modem
Initialization
String The modem initialization string is a series of numbers separated by
decimals that the modem transmits when it calls Pitney Bowes.
CAUTION! Do not change unless directed to do so by a Pitney
Bowes representative.
1. Press the Options key.
2. Select Setup Menu, then Basic Settings.
3. Press the Options key again then select Phone Setup.
4. Select Modem Initialization.
5. Press CE/C to remove the current value.
CAUTION! If you change your mind and decide not to change this
number, press the CE/C key TWICE to back out of the screen and
retain the number.
6. Type in the new value provided by your Pitney Bowes representative.
Press Enter to accept the new value.
