5. Select the desired waiting time for WAIT TIME by press-

ing the - or + button.
This item lets you set the waiting time to retry if there is
no response from the connected device.

OFF:

Selects no retry.

100 – 1000:

Selects a waiting time in milli-seconds.

6. Select a number of data bit, 7 or 8, for DATA BIT by

pressing the - or + button.

7. Select the parity check mode for PARITY by pressing

the - or + button.

NONE:

No parity check

EVEN:

Even parity

ODD:

Odd parity

8. Select a number of stop bit, 1 or 2, for STOP BIT by

pressing the - or + button.

9. Select the flow control mode, ON or OFF, for XON/XOFF

by pressing the - or + button. (except RS-232C)

OFF:

Disables the flow control.

ON:

Enables the flow control.

10. Select FULL or HALF Duplex for FULL/HALF by press-

ing the - or + button. (RS-485 only)

11. Repeat the above steps to edit other ports.

12. Press the [SET UP/ESC] button to execute the setting

and returns to the previous SYSTEM SETUP menu.

VCR Input Select

This item lets you select the VCR input terminal.

1. Move the cursor to the VCR IN SELECT parameter in

the SYSTEM SETUP menu.

2. Select input either VIDEO or S-VIDEO.

VIDEO:

Selects input from the VCR VIDEO terminal.

S-VIDEO:

Selects input from the VCR S-VIDEO termi-

nal.

The factory default setting is VIDEO.

Daisy Mode

This item lets you select whether to have the video signal
connected to SPOT IN looped through to the SPOT OUT
connector (daisy-chain connection).

1. Move the cursor to the DAISY MODE parameter in the

SYSTEM SETUP menu.

2. Select either ON or OFF.

ON:

Select this parameter if the video multiplexer is

daisy-chained.

OFF:

Normal position.

The factory default setting is OFF.

Unit Address

This item lets you assign a unit number for identification
when multiple video multiplexers are connected in a sys-
tem.

1. Move the cursor to the UNIT ADDR. SET parameter in

the SYSTEM SETUP menu.

2. Select a unit number, 1 to 16, by pressing the A or B

button.

The factory default setting is 1.
