Connecting the Player to Other Components
Connecting headphones
Connect the headphones’ plug securely to the PHONES jack on the player’s front panel.
To listen to music over the headphones, first turn the VOLUME control on the
right side of the main unit to the left to lower the volume, then adjust the volume
to a comfortable level. Be careful not to set the volume too high when using
headphones.

Note:
Insert the headphones’ plug securely.
No sound will be heard unless the
headphones are securely connected.
Notes:
• With the PDV-LC10, no sound is produced
from the speakers when headphones are
connected.
• It is not possible to hear the sound of DTS-
compatible DVDs over headphones.
• Strong noise is produced when DTS discs
other than DVDs are played, so do not
listen to such discs over headphones.
