Searching for a specific scene
Searching by chapter number - DVDs

Press the SEARCH MODE
button twice.

Press the number buttons
while pressing the SHIFT
button.
To select chapter number 10, press
number buttons 1 and then 0 while
pressing the SHIFT button.
If you press the wrong number button,
press the CLEAR button once, then
input the number again. When the
CLEAR button is pressed again, the
search mode is canceled.

Press the PLAY button.
Playback starts from the specified
chapter number.
Hints:
• For some discs it is also possible to select
the chapter number by pressing the
number buttons while pressing the
SHIFT button in the play mode. To select
title number 10, press number buttons
+10 and 0 while pressing the SHIFT
button.
• For some discs it is also possible to select
the chapter number using the disc’s
menu. In this case, press the MENU
button to display the menu, then select
the desired chapter number.
Operation from the remote control unit
Note:
For some discs the search function is
prohibited. In this case the
mark
appears on the screen.
