Setup Screen Operations
Items that can be set and items that cannot be set depending on the type
of disc
The setup screen includes items that can be set and items that cannot be set
depending on the type of disc (DVD, video CD or CD). On this player, these items
can be distinguished by color-coded indicators to the left of the currently selected
setting item. For details, see the table below.

Indicator Hint:
When a video CD or CD is loaded (in the
play or stop mode) and an item on the
setup screen that can only be set for DVDs
is selected, a blue DVD mark appears
momentarily at the upper right of the
display, indicating that the setting item
cannot be set for the currently loaded disc.
