Disconnecting of the Copyboard
Please perform the following procedure when disconnecting the Copyboard during Windows operation.
Note: The removal icon or displayed message will differ depending on the version of Windows. Should this be the
case, please perform the removal operation using the same procedure.
The personal computer will be disconnected.
ቢ Check that the blinking of the Memory indicator has
changed to the indicator being off.
ባ Right click on the "Removable Disk" icon of "My Com-
puter" and left click on "Eject" of the menu.
Wait a little while before proceeding to Step ).
Disconnect the USB cable from the personal com-
puter.
Windows Me / 2000 / XP
Perform the disconnection of the personal com-
puter.
ቢ Click the [Hardware Removal] icon (Example: ) that
is displayed in the task tray.
ባ Click "Stop USB Mass storage Device - drive (E)". (The
E drive character will differ depending on the personal
computer system.)
ቤ Click [OK] when "The ‘USB Mass storage Device’ de-
vice can now safely removed from the System" is dis-
played.
• When using Windows XP, [OK] does not appear on
the message screen. Simply disconnect.
Disconnect the USB cable from the personal com-
puter.
