5.1 Reset procedure

The KX-HGW600 has two buttons on the rear side of the unit. These two buttons are
used to initialize or restart the KX-HGW600.
To initialize the KX-HGW600
When you forget the KX-HGW600 password ( Page 110) or when you need to clear
all the settings of the KX-HGW600, push and hold the FACTORY DEFAULT RESET
button for a few seconds.
The settings are cleared and initialized to the default settings (
Page 134).
To restart the KX-HGW600
When the POWER indicator on the KX-HGW600 lights red ( Page 13), push the
RESTART button. The KX-HGW600 restarts with all the settings preserved.
Note
When you use the DHCP server function ( Page 106), restart all the devices on the
LAN side.
Push the button with a pointed object.
