Both the internal and tabletop tape drives operate in normal pressures from –500 to 10,000 feet when
operated within the ambient operating environments specified in

Section 3.3.2, “Temperature and

Humidity” on page 3-15

.

The SDLT 600 tape drive will operate to 30,000 feet for temperatures within 15

±

5 °C.

Recording Media Specifications

Super DLTtape II media differs slightly from previous generations of Super DLTtape media.
