END MARK ....................................................................

To enter an “end mark” at the current cursor location, press the

END

MARK button followed by the SET button. An end mark signifies the end
of the song, and should always be entered to properly end each song. (An
end mark is unnecessary when ending with an Ending pattern or Fade-
out.) The cursor cannot be moved past an end mark. You can delete an end
mark by using the

DELETE button, just as with other normal data.

End Mark
Unless an end mark is entered, the song
will end one measure after the last entered
data. If an Ending pattern or Fade-out is
input, the song will end at the last measure
of the Ending or Fade-out.

RHYTHM ON/OFF..........................................................

To turn the rhythm sound on or off, press the

RHYTHM ON/OFF but-

ton followed by the

SET button. No rhythm sound is produced following

the location to which a “rhythm off” event is entered; the rhythm starts
sounding again from the location to which a “rhythm on” event is entered.

143

The rhythm on/off status is displayed in the
box at the middle of the display.
