Body monitoring

Always measure in bare feet. Personal data
must be programmed first (page 14). In
order to ensure that the results are consis-
tent, stand on the scale naked and under
the same conditions.

➀ Step on to the scale.

Your weight is indicated, with a bar display while
analysis is taking place (25-30 seconds).
Stand still until analysis is complete.

➁ As soon as automatic personal recognition has taken

place, the screen switches over to alternate display of
body-fat percentage, (

) body water proportion

(

) and muscle proportion (

).

The normal range of each person lies in the
3 middle segments.

The display shown next is the recommendation for
your personal conduct.

Meaning of the symbols:
+

You should drink more!

+

Muscle-building training is recommended!

+

Change of diet recommended!

+

Your analysis figures are fine!

➂ In addition a trend display in line with your

pre-sets (Page 14) and – by means of the blocks in
the corners – the normal range for the person
measured.

Normal range

➃ Step off the scale. The scale switches off

automatically when the person steps off.

In a few cases, it may not be possible to organize
automatically the results of analysis. The scale will
then display alternately the memory locations of
the next persons for whom analysis is to take
place. As the measurement operation is now over,
you can step off the scale and save your personal
data by pressing the button above. The display
will now show your body-fat, body-water and
muscle-proportion data.

Note that you will only obtain a weight
reading – and no body monitoring data –
if you step on the scale with your shoes
or socks on!
