Checks before the first run

Check that the main power is switched off.

When installing a new unit, disconnect the motor (U / T1, V /
T2, W / T3) cables to prevent damage to the frequency
converter.

Measure the insulation resistance of the motor windings
(each phase to ground). Insulation resistance requirement for
new motor:

Cold motor (10..40 °C):

5 M

Warm motor (40 °C or more):

1 M

If insulation resistance is less that requirement the motor
shall be dried.

Reconnect the motor cables and check the thightness of the
other cables.

Check that the external connections and selected control
parameters (switches) are set according to the application.
