A list of the Words displays
(including the description of the
parameter/variable for this bit).
When Global Data Configuration is highlighted,
the Summary View displays all the data for the
bits. (Note: Word 4 does not display because
no data is defined for that word.)
Exporting/Importing Genius Values
Note In order to export/import Genius values, they must display in the Outline
View. Be sure to select Genius in the drive Edit Device Properties dialog box.

To export Genius values
1. From the Outline View , click on Genius to highlight it.
2. From the File menu, choose Export and Selected. The Export Genius dialog
box displays. The file is saved and named for the current drive configuration,
such as AVDV_GeniusValues.tre.

To import Genius values
1. From the Outline View , click on Genius to highlight it.
2. From the File menu, choose Import or click . Choose the file to import.
Downloading and Uploading
Note Make sure Genius is selected in the drive Edit Device Properties dialog box
and that the serial cable is plugged into the RS-232C port of the Genius board.

1. From the Outline View , right-mouse click on Genius.
2. From the drop-down menu choose Download or Upload
