Entering Calibration Documentation Mode
Press the Calibrate key to setup the MFT to document the
calibration of HART or conventional devices. The following
screen will appear (see the Calibrate Key section earlier in
this manual for more details):










Begin Calibration: after properly setting the Procedure, Device Out and Cal Type options, select Begin

Calibration to initiate a calibration documenting session.

Procedure: Select to set up the MFT for Manual Calibration, From PC (Stored) Calibration Procedure or

Template Calibration Procedures. The following screen will appear:








Device Out: Select to set up the MFT for calibration of HART devices (HART mA or HART PV multidrop loops),

conventional devices, or for entry of the device under test’s local indication (local indicators or Fieldbus
device readings). The following screen will appear:










Cal Type: This option allows the user to select and set up the type of calibration desired. Cal Type menu
provides the user with a list of supported calibration types to choose from. Meas/Sim menu allows the user to
select the needed MFT operation for the device under test’s input. Measure menu allows the user to select the
needed MFT operation for the device under test’s output. See the Calibrate Key section earlier in this manual
for more information. A sample of the Cal Type screen is shown below.
