When satisfied with the test information, move the cursor arrow to the Start 1 of X menu line and
press the Select soft key. An instruction screen will appear and then the test will begin with the
following display.
Once the test has been completed the follow screens will be available:
Once the switch test is complete, select the Next soft key to review the results. If the test needs to be
repeated, select the Abort soft key and restart the test. To save the As Found switch tests results,
select the Save soft key from the Review Switch Test Results screen. The user will be given a
chance to save the As Found data to As Left data, to Trim the switch set point (MFT display will show
switch input and switch state while trimming operations are executed), to start the As Left
documenting session (after Trim operations are completed) or to View the As Found Results.
Where:
Set Pt: theoretical set point of the switch under test
Reset Pt: theoretical reset point of the switch under test
Direction: contact closure on Increase or Decrease
Test Reset Pt: testing reset point is optional
Ramp Minutes: time for ramp when simulating RTD or T/C
Start Delay: optional start delay in minutes
Contact Form: Normally Open or Normally Closed options
VMA (wetting): On Æ VMA0055 module wets switch circuit or
Off Æ external VDC wetting
LRV: Lower Range Value of test to be run (or lower limit of simulation function)
URV: Upper Range Value of test to be run (or upper limit of simulation function)
