1. Optional control switches are active only if all of these conditions are met:

a) '8-Point Shift' (DIP switch #4) is set to OFF.
b) Receive Only (DIP Switch #5) is set to OFF.
c) Switch Inhibit (DIP Switch #7) is set to OFF.
