Permission for Accessing Local Client Files

Java applications have a security feature that prohibits the Java applications from accessing local
files on client computers. To use Remote Web Console, you must give Remote Web Console
permission to access local files on your computer.

shows the concept of the Java application security.

Figure 13 (page 36)

shows that Remote Web Console with digital signature can access local files

with user approval. The digital signature has an expiration date that might be expired depending
on the Remote Web Console version you use. Even if the digital signature is expired, you can
continue using Remote Web Console.

The dialog box that appears when you log in depends on the JRE versions. See the following
description and take the appropriate action in the displayed dialog box.
