The following icons appear on the Remote Web Console main window.

Description

Item

Indicates the storage system error status by color (blue: normal, yellow: warning, red:
abnormal) according to the host SIM status. For details, check the Alerts window (see

“Alerts Window” (page 66)

).

Normal

Warning

Abnormal

Indicates the operation mode of all currently logged-in users.

Unlocked

If all users are viewing the information in View mode, the blue unlocked icon (

) is

displayed. If a user is operating in Modify mode, the red locked icon (

) is displayed.

Locked

The status might not be displayed correctly while an SLPR is locked and being modified
by a storage partition administrator or SVP maintenance is in progress.

One storage partition administrator for each SLPR can change to Modify mode. While
a storage administrator is in Modify mode, any other storage partition administrator
cannot change to Modify mode.

Allows users to switch the operation mode between Modify and View. The button always
shows the current user operation mode. To change the mode, click the button.

View

Modify

You cannot switch to Modify mode while any other user is operating in Modify mode.
Make sure to confirm the exclusive lock icon before switching to Modify mode.

Allows you to download the audit log file.

Audit:Normal

When the lines of saved data in the audit log file are under the threshold, the
Audit:Normal button is displayed.

Audit:Warning

When the lines of saved data in the audit log file exceed the threshold, the
Audit:Warning button is displayed.

Audit:Wraparound

When the lines of saved data in the audit log file have exceeded the threshold and
reached the maximum number of lines that can be saved, the Audit:Wraparound
button is displayed.

To use these buttons to download the audit log file, you need to log in with the user
account of a storage administrator. The Audit Log Administrator role needs to be set to
Modify or View for setting the operation privileges for the user account. For detailed
information on the audit log file, see the HP XP24000/XP20000 Audit Log User and
Reference Guide
.

After the FTP server settings are completed, the Audit:Warning button or the
Audit:Wraparound button might still be displayed on the Remote Web Console main
window. This is due to a transfer failure of the audit log file. See

“Audit Log Transfer

Window” (page 73)

for instructions on how to resolve the problem.

Shows the user ID of the currently logged-in user. When you have logged in as a storage
partition administrator, the SLPR number and name are displayed to the right of the user
ID in the format < SLPR number : SLPR name>.
