Computer connections cannot be
made normally

Your video device is not recognised.

• Make sure the power to the video device is turned

on.

• Make sure the cable is connected properly.

If not recognised by the personal computer, unplug
and then plug the cable again.

• Make sure there is nothing wrong with the video

device connected.

• Make sure the video device connected is made by

Panasonic.

• The personal computer may be in an unstable state.

After rebooting it reconnect according to the
connection procedure. (Refer to the “operating
instructions for PC connection” for the connection.)

If your connected video device is disconnected or

turned off, the condition of the personal computer
will become unstable.

• Exit MotionDV STUDIO, and then disconnect the

video device.
Turn the digital video device off after it is
disconnected.

MotionDV STUDIO does not start though your

video device is already connected.

• MotionDV STUDIO may not be installed normally.

Reinstall the software and then start it again.

occur when you cannot make connection between the
personal computer and video device normally.

Plug the cables securely at the time of connection.
