editing, depending on their file formats (e.g., 4-bit WAV
files).
• If you select [Record from blank space] when recording
on a tape without any blank part, about 30 seconds of
video may be recorded in the end part of the tape.
When you record on a tape without any blank part, do
not select [Record from blank space].
• If the video recorded in the SP mode and the video
recorded in the LP mode are mixed on an input tape, the
video may not be imported normally in the section where
the mode is switched.
• A tape may not be recorded well in the vicinity of the
leading edge or the trailing edge of it.
• Although sound is sometimes interrupted in the preview
of Audio Mix, it is not a malfunction.
• If you operate any window other than the MotionDV
STUDIO window such as the taskbar when using
MotionDV STUDIO, the previewed image comes not to
be displayed in some cases.
• If you use an external monitor with the personal
computer equipped with the dual display mode, the
Preview screen may not be displayed.
• If other video editing software is already installed, we
recommend uninstalling it and then installing this
software.
• When editing a video, the video on the Preview screen
may be distorted. However, this is not a malfunction.
The video is recorded correctly on a tape, etc.
• Depending on the mouse used, the mouse wheel may
not be used with MotionDV STUDIO.
• If you log off Windows while MotionDV STUDIO is
running, a problem may occur.
Before you log off Windows, be sure to exit MotionDV
STUDIO.
• If neither video nor sound is produced though a video
device is connected, exit MotionDV STUDIO once and
reconnect the cable. After that, start MotionDV STUDIO
again.
• Files with copyright information may not be converted
without permission of the copyright holder.
